About RAP

Who We Are

The Adoption Network for the Pashtuns (RAP) is a Latin American missionary movement dedicated to bringing the Gospel to the Pashtun people, the largest unreached tribal Muslim group in the world.

Our mission is to inform, mobilize, and equip the Latin American Church to participate in this calling. Through resources, training, and teamwork, we help believers and churches discover their mission and prepare to reach the Pashtuns with the message of Christ.

Our Values

  • We Are Disciples
We are committed to knowing and following Jesus. Intimacy with Him is our foundation and top priority. We listen to the Holy Spirit to receive wisdom, strategy, and direction.

  • We Are Creative
We constantly innovate, seeking new ways to collaborate with God. We pioneer fresh strategies when traditional models no longer work.

  • We Are Forerunners
We multiply our impact by equipping and empowering others. We identify and train leaders to carry forward the vision and expand the reach of this mission.

  • We Are Bold
We are committed to taking the Gospel to difficult places, crossing cultural, linguistic, and geographical barriers. We are willing to give everything for the cause of Christ.

Our History

The story of RAP began with Dave and Sara, a couple passionate about Jesus. Between 2014 and 2015, God stirred their hearts to share the Gospel with the Pashtuns. However, at first, they faced closed doors, doubts, and challenges. It was during this time that God confirmed their calling and revealed a strategy.

The First Steps
Everything started with three people praying faithfully. While in Paraguay, Dave and Sara identified the need to mobilize Latinos for this mission. They created Spanish-language materials to inform, pray, and raise awareness about the Pashtuns.

The first countries to join were Colombia and Brazil, with believers willing to answer the call. Soon, the vision expanded to the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Costa Rica, with prayer groups and volunteers organizing in different locations.

Growth Amid Adversity
In 2020, the pandemic forced RAP to expand digitally. Through online prayer meetings, training sessions, and volunteer courses, the movement grew from 30 volunteers in 6 countries to over 120 in just one year.

RAP Today

Currently, RAP has 135 volunteers in 18 countries, advancing the mission of making the Gospel accessible to every Pashtun. You can be part of this story.
